As the humidity begins to creep into my daily life, getting dressed becomes quite the sweaty obstacle. Trying to put together outfits that breathe and that don't stick to you becomes the challenge. Lately I have been living in linen pants, tank tops and rompers. Basically anything that breathes!
Here are some looks from a great site {FabSugar} that I totally love for this time of year. These ladies prove when it is hot out, simple is the best way to go!
Oh! Please make a note of the shoes in the first two pictures. These strappy sandals are back and back in a BIG way!! So be sure to sport a pair this summer!

Fatherly Inspired
Happy Early Father's Day!!!
First, Happy Monday!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
With Father's Day a week away my sister and I are racking our brains on what to get our father, he is SUPER hard to buy for. And Dad, if you are reading this, tell us what you want/need! lol
So in honor of Father's Day today's post is how to do a chic menswear look. Personally I love menswear and think it makes a classic outfit for occasion. The above outfit I would wear to a wedding, or a chic cocktail party, or even a girls night out. Don't shy away from menswear, it is all about the fit and tailoring. So if you have to try on fifty pairs of pants to find the pair that hangs the proper way for your body shape do so. Nothing is worse then seeing a woman in a sloppy looking out fit. To add some feminine touches to a masculine look, pick a coloured blazer and some stellar accessories. A classic look like menswear, never goes out of style, so spending a few bucks on the classic basics is always a good idea!

GRIPE...
Oh TGIF!!!!
I have decided to end the week with something sparkly and something on trend!
I love sequins, more than I should maybe lol and peplums are very trendy right now. But combining them in black and white looks like an upscale french maids outfit! I think this is the type of dress that has the best intentions but came up a little hoakey. However I would suggest that if you need something for Halloween or a costume party coming up this dress is BEYOND amazing for that! You would for sure have the nicest looking costume! This is what I would do if I could fit my behind into it for sure!
I hope you have a great weekend and get to do lots of fun things!
I know I am and cannot wait to share next week!

Colourful Wedding...
Oh Wedding season you are in full swing!!
My sister has a wedding in a few weeks and she sent me the picture of the dress she has bought and asked me to help find some accessories. It's from {American Eagle} and because it is a neutral she wanted to add some punches of colour! I immediately knew what clutch would be a great jumping off point; this colourful splash clutch from {ALDO} was a great starting point. Then found the necklace from {Forever21} that pulled out almost all the colours from the handbag. Plus she wanted a statement necklace and I think this one is terrific. Then this great blue peep toe from {ALDO} to round out this colour filled look. The dress has the model wearing a brown belt I would opt for no belt when doing this much colour. Sometimes you can for surely over do it!
Don't be afraid of colour for a wedding. They are celebrations, a time for joy and fun, and when does hot pink, yellow, blue and gold never not made someone happy!
An early congrats to Erika and Nick!
The lovely couple's wedding my sister will be attending.

Adore...
Going to local festivals/markets is one of my favourite summer time activities. Last weekend (when the sun was around) I went to our annual Potters Market. Potters from all over come to a park that lines the river to sell their creative and amazing goods. Here are a few pictures I snapped.
Now sadly I was wearing workout clothes (I went right from rowing) but what I wanted to be wearing is the below outfit. Shorts, a breezy top some great wedges and my new bag! Sometimes wearing workout clothes OUT happens, I just try not to make it a 'thing' only cause I don't workout in anything fancy! lol
What is an outfit you would like to wear for a Sunday at a market? Share in the comments!

A little girl played the violin all day. Was great to have a little music.
A view of the river where the market was held.
One of the three areas where the potters were set up.
Just a small sampling of some the AMAZING talent showcased at the market.
A wider look at a portion of market.

Event Clothing, Diamond Jubilee...
No matter what your thoughts are of the British Monarchy you cannot for second knock the ladies of the Royal Family for sporting some great clothes for the Floatilla celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this past weekend. Not to forget that her rein as Queen is the second longest political reign of all time, quite impressive! I watched the spectacle for a few hours on Sunday because I know this event will never happen again in my life time. It was quite a show that is for sure!
Here is a closer look at the classy ROYAL ladies!

Here is a closer look at the classy ROYAL ladies!
The Queen in white! Wearing designer, Angela Kelly, said to have taken a year to make. I personally loved this hat; never seen anything like it before. The Daily Mail said this "The
only note of dishevelment was that her solid Launer of London handbag
was open (Camilla soon told her to snap it shut); the sole sign of her
advanced age a cashmere square for warmth later."
The Duchess wearing Alexander McQueen (wedding dress designer) with a Phillip Treacy hat. A little note, this same dress has been worn my Kim Kardashian last year.
Pippa was wearing a very nautical inspired outfit by Orla
Keily.
Princess Eugenie wore a Roland Mouret dress and a Stephen Jones hat.
I didn't like the lace bolero, kinda 'walmart-ish' for my taste.

Princess Beatrice wore a bespoke Fifties-style dress by London couturier Suzannah
and a Stephen Jones hat.

Finds...
Well Happy Monday Morning Everyone!!
After some computer issues this moring and never enough coffee here is today's post!
Weekends are always filled with errands or if your lucky a trip to the beach for the weekend!
I have been doing all my errands while 'tote'ing' around with my {FEED bag} and I am comletly in love with it. So it got me to thinking since this bag brings me joy why not show off a few totes that can add some pizazz and joy to you while running errands!
Find a tote that has some personality, a canvas bag that has a great picture on it! The simpliest things sometimes are the grandest. Big or small its all about finding a bag you love so you will use it again and again! Can't you just see a nice bouquet of flowers, some seasonal fruit or even a great antique find in these bags! Or like me regular old toothpaste for 'that' type of errand! lol
