WELCOME 2013!!!

Hope everyone had a great holiday season.... I sure did, spent it pool side in Jamaica!

Thought I would start the first post of 2013 off with some sparkle!  This is what I wore on New Years Eve!

Oh TGIF!!!!

I have decided to end the week with something sparkly and something on trend!
I love sequins, more than I should maybe lol and peplums are very trendy right now.  But combining them in black and white looks like an upscale french maids outfit!  I think this is the type of dress that has the best intentions but came up a little hoakey.  However I would suggest that if you need something for Halloween or a costume party coming up this dress is BEYOND amazing for that!  You would for sure have the nicest looking costume!  This is what I would do if I could fit my behind into it for sure!

GRIPE/FIND...

I haven't come across a GRIPE in a couple weeks that I found 'blog worthy'.  I will take this as a testament that there are a lot of nice clothes out there right now, or at least I should say very versatile pieces.
So instead I decided to show you this awesome {TopShop} jumper that I found!  I can see it being worn by lots of people!  It screams 'wear me to a party' and I would do just that.  The thing I will GRIPE about today is finding pieces like this that are awesome and I want desperately but cannot buy because I can not justify them because I have no where it wear it.  le sigh.  Someone please have a fabulous party where I can wear an entire sequined outfit please, my inner diva needs to SHINE!

With lots of holiday parties coming up you have to make sure you add some sparkle into your festive wardrobe.  It can be the smallest amount with accessories, gloves, or even a clutch, or go for big impact with a full sequin dress!  Casual sequin pieces like a blazer are or a cardigan are easy to add to a simple outfit or an all one colour ensemble.  Even be very daring in sequin pants and a soft top. 

When it comes to sparkle and shine it so easy to achieve.   

Keep a keen eye out for a sparkly things to add to your closet!

While doing some online window shopping, my favorite past time, I came across this jacket that I must have in my life.  It's amazing!  I am a huge fan of anything sequined, and anything gold, and a blazer, it's like it was made JUST FOR ME!!!

 I also have a love of penguins, and I think this sweater would be so cute for the fall/winter season.  Why not have some kitschy pieces in your wardrobe.
