Finds...

It might be that all I am thinking of lately is the new house and how often I can sprinkle some cottage weekends into there.  I am also checking out sites like {Anthropologie} daily for fun things for the new house and inspiration.

So when {Anthropologie} posted these luxurious sleeping bags I was like WHAT?!?!!  Ah-Mazing!  Then I thought, I do not do glam-ping, but if I did THIS would be the sleeping bag I bring with me.  Could you imagine, no running water, mosquitos but going to sleeping in this thing!  Please, waking up on the ground would be blissful in this sleeping bag.  Now if only there was like a great pillow top mattress under it too, but you get my point!

All you ladies out there who's significant other wants them to go camping this summer and you are protesting your hate, say to them, 'Ok, I will go, but ONLY if you buy me the Florabunda sleeping bag darling'.  Perfect.

 Overalls!

Mark my words.. wether you like it or not I have this gut feeling you will be seeing OVERALLS making a come back this Spring/Summer.  As seen on the runways of Ralph Lauren and Rachel Comey via {style.com} they are already on their way. 

  

Above via {polyvore} I styled three different ways to wear overalls in your everyday life.  The top left is what I would refer to as the tradition way; beachy, casual, the laid back way, and yes, wear the chiffon shirt UNDER the overalls.  Second, bottom left, would be the grown-up, cafe, sophisticated, make a stylish TRENDY statement; I can hear this girl saying "who is wearing overalls, not me!" hahhaa  And lastly on the right, although is casual its more 'office' pulled together look; although not many office allow those sandals.  The look is very classic and easy to dress, preppy chic.

The overalls in my style pics are from {Anthropologie} but if I were you I would keep an eye out to add them into your closet in the coming months.  Why not add some childhood whimsy into your adult life;

 Afternoon Anthropologie Style... 

My perfect Saturday would be waking up, a French pressed coffee, a newspaper, blog-roll (of course) and then a trip to the market, a bakery and a cheese shop.  All while placing these items into the basket in the front of my retro inspired bicycle.  My iPod would be playing Florence and the Machine and Adele on loop as I whiz thru the downtown streets.  Now of course this fantasy takes place in Paris, I had someone do my hair and makeup, and oh yes, the weather is warm with a chilly breeze.  And later this afternoon I would meet friends in a café, eat macaroons and debate light fare topics; ah, the dream continues, lol.  Now this is the outfit I would wear on this perfect Saturday morning.  All the clothes are from {Anthropologie} a store that fills me with wonder and amazement at their clothes and home products ALWAYS.  Hope that this coming season I can find pieces like these to add to my closet, so that a little bit of my dreamy Saturday will come true!

This coming weekend is a busy one for me!  Tonite I am sending a friend off who is heading to NZ for a month, so martinis are in order!  Tomorrow I am doing a winery tour in Niagara on the Lake for another friend’s birthday.  And then on Sunday, back to Niagara, to do a 5km CHOCOLATE race, yes you heard me CHOCOLATE!  So a busy weekend I will have, pictures to come on Monday.  Hope you all enjoy your weekend too!

How great are these {Anthropologie} quilted fall wedges for fall!  Mmm I love a unique shoe!

Inspiration ...

{Anthropologie} is a website filled of clothes and housing ideas that I try constantly to draw ideas and inspiration from; even with not owning a piece of their product, sadly.  They recently launched new bedding collections, laelia, pavo, nimbus, and albertine.  All outfits are gorgeous, ethereal, colourful, stylish and relaxing all at the same time.  The way they staged the ads is awesome, and makes me want replica rooms ASAP.

My favorite was the PAVO.

 

This room has old and new world charm.  Has a city yet country feel.  I want to curl up in the bed and read a great book at night, I want to spend Sunday mornings with VOGUE and Stella and wake up slowly.

I will stare at this picture and just think of all the great things to come in life; This room makes me DREAM.
