A few weeks back I went out for martini's with some friends and pulled out this staple in my wardrobe this fall, a striped dress.  I have worn it countless times and for this night out I jazzed it up with some major sparkle!  Classic pieces like stripes, tights and diamonds are always a no fail way of dressing!

A reason I love my city is that is full art and quirkiness and something is ALWAYS going on!  This weekend the city had lots of events happening and I attended Graffiti Fest.  Dozens of local and non local graffiti artists came out to show off their art and skills, a prove graffiti inst all bad!  Frankly, it made me want to have a piece commissioned!

On Monday I showed  you {WIW} on my Friday night out.  Since today is Friday I thought I would show you what my monochromatic partner in crime best friend wore!!  I have shown you before what {Cindy} has worn and she always has great style and great eye for mixing high and low pieces.  Since we think so alike this is how we both ended up in same coloured outfits completely by random!

I so appreciate people willing to model their clothes for this blog and I especially love being able to show you my fantastically stylish friends!

Its been a  solid week since these pictures were taken and just like last Friday I could you use some champagne it has been a long week! hahaha 
Enjoy what is the 'last full day of Summer', break out in pure joy that right around the corner is leather, mitts, knits and everything plaid and comforting.  Oh Fall, I love thee! hahaha

Happy MONDAY morning everyone!

Today I am showing you what I wore to {FNO}, Fashion Night Out!  This is an event that is held all over the world, where retailers stay open late, throw little soirees and promote fashion and spending money!
Sounds great doesn't it! lol

I wanted to wear an outfit that was hinting at fall since the night was mild yet chilly, comfy shoes since I would be walk event to event!  So this is what I came up with!

Day One of {Osheaga} was the shortest day we spent at the festival so I went with a maxi since I did not know what to expect from the venue.  Well suffice to say it was SUPER humid and I for sure could not have worn that dress on a day we spent more hours there.

The concert kicked off with Florence and the Machine, my maxi and high bun were the perfect mix of rocker chic and hipster!

I talked about the blogger event I attended {here} and all the ladies looked fantastic!  Since the event was on a lovely Sunday afternoon, I broke out a brand new sundress topped with lots of gold jewels I thought was the way to go!  Also a pop of mint to keep it FRESH and oh so summery.

Towards the end of last week my mum surprised me with the exclusive {Holt Renfrew} {FEED} bag designed by {Tory Burch}.  Now you may ask what the heck is {FEED}; It is an organization started by Lauren Bush that aims to provide support to organizations that are working to fight hunger and eliminate malnutrition throughout the world.  What a great cause!!!  I am in love with this bag and have been using it none stop since I got it.  It is the perfect size for magazines, books, water bottles, wallet, basically, it is the perfect carry-all.

Over the weekend I paired it with a simple little white dress from {Old Navy} and went grocery shopping.  It is so great that you can support a cause and look stylish while doing it.  I recommend everyone gets one, it is for a great cause after all.

On weekends I try my hardest to get out of the yoga pants and make an effort to run errands in some what of a pulled together outfit.  This past Saturday I headed out to bottle wine and do a few errands and wanted to put a little spring in my step so I wore some TULIPS! hahaha  Kept it simple with just some decorative bangles and an espadrille.

Do you dress up for day during weekends?  If you answered no, you must try it this weekend, you become WAY more productive! lol

Fall... Old Navy Style

Today I am having a bad day.  Neighborhood punks stole all my lawn’s solar lights, 12 to be exact last night.  So while I sit and boil over this loss I thought I would cheer myself up with looking towards my favorite season.  FALL.

Now this entire look is all clothes from {Old Navy}.  There clothes to me are always super affordable and accessible and they always blend seamlessly into any wardrobe.

The look below I think would rock with a high pony, hence the picture.  But I also think a good old baseball cap would really add a quirky fun tie to the clothes as well.  Loving the striped cropped sweater too; being cropped makes it feel light and not as heavy as a regular sweater.  Start dreaming of fall now everyone its closer then you think.
