Event Clothing... Snow White Premiere

I want to say a couple things before I get to today's post!

1.  Happy Friday!  It is a long weekend up here in Canada and I cannot wait to relax and chill on a patio.  I hope where ever you are you enjoy yourself as well.
2.  Yesterday was a new HIGH for FimC.  I reached my highest blog viewership ever and I couldn't be more humbled.  I knew that sparkly necklace was a good gem!

On now to the post!

Every lady has the LBD in her closet, the little black dress.  It is a staple and yes from time to time you upgrade it or like me you have 10+ LBD's in your closet! hahaha  At the London Premiere of 'Snow White and the Seven Huntsmen' my girl crush Charlize Theron and Kristin Stewart took the idea of the little black dress to a new level.  These ladies looked stunning!!!  Aside from Charlize's little green earrings and bracelet the ladies let the dresses speak for themselves.  Proving that a black dress is an amazing investment into your closet.

I heard on {Chelsea Lately} last night that she thinks Charlize is "walking sex", and look at those legs, hard not to agree!  Guess that is why she is my crush! hahaha

Why not start off this Monday with some MAJOR fashion inpspiration!  My love of Charlize is nothing new for you Fimc readers as you can see from a previous post {here}.  To me she is the eptiome of perfection and during a week of press for her new flick 'Young Adult' (trailer below) she did not disappoint in the least.  Here are images from press events she did.

Take a minute and enjoy this video that the House of Dior made for J’adore their perfume, starring Charlize Theron naturally, since she is the spokesperson.  Also making appearances are the holograms of  

Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe.  

It is an amazing video.  I read online that it took 12 makeup artists, 12 hair stylists, 220 extras, 40 actors and a technical team of 100 people on set; and if you notice it was shot in the Palace of Versailles in Paris.   

I melt.

Inspiration ...

So this long weekend has kicked my butt!  I got so relaxed, getting back into the swing of the blog has been harder then I thought.  Made a mental note to have some blogs prepared before a long weekend so the comeback is easier next time!

This week I am dedicating the blog to my style icons.  Some might surprise you, some you might never even have heard of.  I think by me showcasing these ladies you will get a better sense of where I draw my fashion inspiration from and even inspire you perhaps!

Inspiration numero uno; Charlize Theron.  She is an actress, an activist and an overall guy’s girl.  Just my kinda lady!  Although her red carpet looks are always stunning, she wears colours that always compliment her skin tone, especially jewel tones.  For me, since my red carpet looks are limited, it’s her casual day to day style that I covet.  My love of all things blazers came from her.  I once saw a pic and was sold that I could rock it too.  My friends know I sport a blazer every where and I think if she can do it so can I!
