Foodie...

Monday was such a zoo I forgot to 'publish' this post.. so my apologies!

I have been reading {Closet Cooking} blog a lot, and he always makes the best food, so when Grey Cup (the Canadian version of Super Bowl) rolled around and my parents decided to have a party I wanted to try making this PIZZA DIP!  Yes pizza dip!  It was super tasty, just like a pizza, and above all it was super easy to make!!

Sorry for the half eaten picture... we had dug in before I realized I never took a picture!!!!  Click {here} to see the recipe!  I very much recommend making it for game night!

Foodie...

Found a recipe this weekend and then jumped at the chance to make it.  I am not a baker so good thing this recipe is drop ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate!  Here is how you make
Peanut Butter Sticky Bars!

This is what you need, Shreddies, corn syrup, dried cranberries, raisins and peanut butter.  It also called for coconut but I don't like coconut so its not here..lol

Combine 2/3 cup of Peanut Butter with 3/4 cup of corn syrup, and microwave for 1.5 mins until melted.

Next add  1 cup of raisins with 1/2 cup of dried cranberries.

Mix in 3 cups of Shreddies, and stir lots till it is evenly coated.

Place in a square pan that has been lightly greased and refrigerate for minimum an hour.

Next, cut, serve and ENJOY!!

Foodie...

New section here on the blog, FOODIE.  You will not see it too often cause well frankly I don't really think anything I cook is worth mentioning hahaha.  Occasionally though I do pull out a culinary wonder and I will share it with you.  This post is for ‘The Birthday Dip’.  I made it for a dinner party this past weekend and it was a HIT!  Its beyond simple to make.  Here are a few photos so that you too can make BIRTHDAY DIP!

All you need is yogurt, Cool Whip, and a box of confetti birthday cake mix

 Add 1 cup of yogurt

Then mix in the whole container of Cool Whip

Then add the entire bag of cake mix.  If you look closely you can see the confetti bits!

Serve with graham crakers, or animal cookies, even arrowroots, anything really.

Its super delicious and light too.  One of the dinner party girls remarked "it tastes like DUNKEROOS".
So there you go, its Adult Dunkeroos!  Enjoy!
