Afternoon casual is brought up a notch with this electric blue lace top!  Goes perfectly with some flats and a touch of girly with the bib necklace.  Saturday afternoon coffee dates just got a little fancier! lol

Lots of posts coming this week from the weekend of Halloween fun had!  Thought I would jump right in and show you my outfit!

I went as Col. Carlie.. some sort of armed forces member! lol  And thank goodness it was Halloween or those boobies of mine would have been more covered; But somehow cause it is Halloween you can get away with it.  And based off other outfits (not my friends) my outfit was fairly tame on the 'sexy' side..lol

Tomorrow I will post what my girls wore, including the pup's costume!

My sister recently asked me for assistance on what to wear to a fall wedding. I yelped and said lace! hahaha Mostly cause that is what I will be wearing to a fall wedding coming up.  She said she doesn't own any and what else could she wear.  Thus inspiring this post!  All these dresses are from {HM} so they are accessible and perfectly priced!  So here are my suggestions of what to wear to wear to a fall wedding.

A satin dress always evokes richness, adding a great floral pattern on it is a great way for it to be fresh and not all boring for a wedding!

Lace is so hot right now, lace everything it seems!  But adding a touch of lace to LBD is a great dress option.  Feminine and demure, can never go wrong with those qualities.

The peplum trend shows no sign of stopping right now.  

This dress in red is perfect dress for a wedding guest.

I will say it again, Bordeaux is so IT right now, and so is the embellished collar.  

Adding them together makes a perfect pulled together look.

Leather oozes fall.  So adding an accent of leather (not a whole dress) would be a perfect way to look super sophisticated as a guest without looking to street walker.  Be careful that the leather you pick is very matte not shiny, too shiny you might trashy.  Fine line people, fine line!..lol

Oh fall how I love you!  I love the simplistic idea of leather and layering.  This past Saturday I was honored to go wedding dress shopping with one of my best friends (side note, she got the most beautiful dress) and the weather was sunny one minute cloudy the next.  So I decided to wear a lighter top and then go heavy on the bottom with this falls must have shoe the Chelsea boot.
The outfit was comfortable and light the perfect combo for hours of shopping!

ps... I am so infatuated with this new H&M bag.  I am toeing it around with pride and it will for sure be my everyday bag for Fall/Winter.

Simple Friday nights out with the best friend are some of the greatest memories I have.  This past Friday was one just like that.  Oddly enough we both wore black and white monochromatic outfits great minds think alike! lol  I recently had bought this great geometric top and couldn't wait to wear it out.  The side braid was an after thought of a day of bad hair, wasn't my fav however I hoped by wearing this fantastic statement necklace no one would notice! :)

Inspiration...

While at {TorontoFashionWeek} the attendees as I mentioned had some of the best style I had seen.  While at a show I couldn't help but notice this blonde across the runway.  I was taken back by her double dot printed outfit at first.  I would never have thought to have paired a polka dot top with polka dot pants, this is why I love going to fashion events, the pure inspiration you can get for your own wardrobe!

Now I tried via {Twitter} to find out who she was so I could tell her I loved her outfit but that came up empty.  I was however able to source the pants as {HM} but the top I am not sure.

Let this show that we should be inspired by everyone around us!  And when in doubt, double up the dots! lol

Adore...

Holiday parties are almost around the corner, not too close but close enough.  {HM}'s new arrivals section has this great tuxedo!  To pull of a satin suit is one thing and in HOT PINK is a whole other thing but what a statement suit!  This ensemble shouts I am confident and I am here to have a good time.  Wouldn’t you agree?!  I would totally be wearing this outfit if it came in my size to some delectable party this coming season.  Are you daring enough to wear a pink tuxedo?
