30th Birthday Outfit... 

For my 30th birthday out with friends (not the surprise party) I had this outfit planned for a solid month ahead of schedule!  It all started with this {ASOS} skirt I wore on NYE and then it all came together when I spotted these {ZARA} heels.  I was like, YES, this is what I am going to ring in a new decade looking like!  Paired with a chambray shirt to tame it down and some gold rings stacked on knuckles, pinkies everywhere!

Sometimes a perfect outfit can make you feel amazing and this did just that!  I don't have a picture of the outfit on... boo.. but as soon as I get to doing some WIW posts I will show you what this looked like on for sure.

For now that sequin skirt goes back into the closet, awaiting another special occasion for when I can take it out for a spin.  Oh sequins, they are always amazing.  

 

Finds...

While reading {ClassyGirlsWearPearls} which I do frequently she posted wearing this beyond adorable bow dress from Kate Spade.  Since I cannot afford it, I went searching for a lower cost version and POOF I did!

Below are the mainstream size and plus size {Forever21} version of this bow dress.  How perfect would this dress be to wear to all types of events this year; graduations, baptisms, weddings, engagement parties.  Bows are perfect way to add some femininity to any event you will attend!

One might say, they are even bow-riffic!! :)

GRIPE...

Everyone we are GRIPE-ing today and for more than appropriate reasons.

When buying ANYTHING if it all resembles a 'phallic' image do not buy it. lol
Cause someone somewhere will not see your necklace aka the one below the way you see it.
Unless you want to be wearing a gemstone like penis around your neck!  In that case they will see it!

Pay attention people!  Places will sell you anything! lol
This is a prime example of a 'bad' necklace happening to good people!..lol

Oh fall how I love you!  I love the simplistic idea of leather and layering.  This past Saturday I was honored to go wedding dress shopping with one of my best friends (side note, she got the most beautiful dress) and the weather was sunny one minute cloudy the next.  So I decided to wear a lighter top and then go heavy on the bottom with this falls must have shoe the Chelsea boot.
The outfit was comfortable and light the perfect combo for hours of shopping!

ps... I am so infatuated with this new H&M bag.  I am toeing it around with pride and it will for sure be my everyday bag for Fall/Winter.

Simple Friday nights out with the best friend are some of the greatest memories I have.  This past Friday was one just like that.  Oddly enough we both wore black and white monochromatic outfits great minds think alike! lol  I recently had bought this great geometric top and couldn't wait to wear it out.  The side braid was an after thought of a day of bad hair, wasn't my fav however I hoped by wearing this fantastic statement necklace no one would notice! :)

What Cindy Wore is coming on Thursday!!!

It was a HOT and HUMID night for my girlfriends wedding rehearsal evening.  A top knot was very much needed to aid in staying cool and I was hoping this super sunny yellow dress would push away the rain clouds and bring on the sun for her big day!

For one of my oldest friends Laura's Bachlortte party (talked about it HERE) this is what I wore!
I have had this lace maxi from {Forever21} in the closet for a wee bit of time since I was not sure where to where it.  It is on the sexier side since it is a floor length lace dress after all so figured a club night with the girls I could take it for a spin!

The only complaint was how long it was with the dirty club floor, that was one thing I did not think of in advance..lol  I loaded up on the jewellery and had a fun night out with the ladies!  Sorry for the mirror pictures,  I didn't want to bother any of the ladies since they were having a good time to pull them away to do a blogger-shoot.  So these will have to suffice!

In a few short weeks (fingers crossed of course) my best friend {Cindy} will be graduating from the Royal Veterinarian College in London, England.  After five (long) years she will become Dr. Favaro and I couldn't be more thrilled for her!  Since one the things we do over Skype and MSN is SHOP we picked out the blue dress you see below for her to wear to her graduation we immediately went accessory shopping!  

Now, she let me pick out the accents and use it as a post (isn't she sweet..lol).  So with that said she got this STUNNING dress and clutch and since the clutch has a gold accent I paired it with a simple earring, black pumps and a chunky cuff.  The dress is a statement on its own with the deep V and colour so I wanted to make it the show-piece and not take away from it.

In July I will post what she wore and you can see what the whole outfit looks like in person,

Colourful Wedding... 

Oh Wedding season you are in full swing!!

My sister has a wedding in a few weeks and she sent me the picture of the dress she has bought and asked me to help find some accessories.  It's from {American Eagle} and because it is a neutral she wanted to add some punches of colour!  I immediately knew what clutch would be a great jumping off point; this colourful splash clutch from {ALDO} was a great starting point.  Then found the necklace from {Forever21} that pulled out almost all the colours from the handbag.  Plus she wanted a statement necklace and I think this one is terrific.  Then this great blue peep toe from {ALDO}  to round out this colour filled look.  The dress has the model wearing a brown belt I would opt for no belt when doing this much colour.  Sometimes you can for surely over do it! 

Don't be afraid of colour for a wedding.  They are celebrations, a time for joy and fun, and when does hot pink, yellow, blue and gold never not made someone happy!
