Just Because...

The image below might be for a scarf company out of Spain, {Suturno} but is how I feel at the end of this week; exhausted.  Stepped up the crossfit this week, added in a 2 hour hike and some yoga and lots of packing.  A few restless and sleepless nights have left me so pooped yet excited for the weekend.
I just want to stay under the covers and sleep!  lol

Don't forget everyone, it is Mother's Day on Sunday!!  So tell her you love her!

Just Because...

It has been one hellva week!  The weather has been beyond amazing!!  I started packing to head to my new house at the end of the month.  I began a 30 day paleo-challenge, and it has been 4 days and so far so good..lol  Now I just can't imagine what the weekend will bring!

Get outside people, eat an ice cream cone, go on a hike, buy those shoes you have been eyeing. 
And as always, just do something you love!!

Just Because...

Well it's Friday and the first day of March!  Pat ourselves on the backs as we all made it.
I wanted to use this image above because obvi I love bubbly more than most, but most of all cause I am back blogging! *clink CHEERS!!  February was a rough month for inspiration, thank you all for kicking around!  Some awesome posts around the corner I can feel it!

AND... note that adding sparkles to any bottle as a DIY would totally add some pizazz to your party!  Try that next time!

WIW...

Last week I said I was using {this} post as inspiration on what to wear to a local hockey game.  Well I did!  Again wanting to show you I practice what I preach! 

And then this is what I actually wore!  Only thing missing was the coloured jeans, and well, the temp dropped and the leather coat was much more practical then the denim.  Hate when mother nature affects my clothing choices!..lol

Just Because...

I am sure you all have had this kind of week.  Around the end of the year you cannot help but feel like the work weeks stretch to the moon and back and never seem to come to an end.

With this weekend JAM-PACKED with festivus activities I know the FUN-METER will be pushing red and I will sleep when I am dead..lol

This morning, BRIGHT AND EARLY before skating I was watching the news and they shared this viral video, and since when I was half asleep it made me laugh I knew it was a must share.

Just Because...

This weekend around these parts it should be warm, shocking since today is -1c.  So when I saw this picture of this woman dazing off into the distance I decided I want to evoke this image!  I decided, while I do up my Holiday cards this weekend, I will pull out my long black lace dress, pair it with some biker boots and a leather coat, and then add a great knit on as to not make me look to unseasonably crazy!  Bonus, if I can find a café to sell me some champagne!

Just Because...

Friday here in these parts means it is time for me to head to Oktoberfest in a neighboring city.  Gathering with friends, drinking beer and lots of laughs, no better way in my mind to start off a weekend!  This was our time last year {here} I hope this year is just as much fun!

Totally will have a WIW post to recap this event next week on the blog.

Today marks the beginning of our Canadian Thanksgiving, so I thought it was only fitting that A, I scream joy because it is a long weekend and I need some rest and then B, make mention of all the things I am thankful for.

WIW...

Simple Friday nights out with the best friend are some of the greatest memories I have.  This past Friday was one just like that.  Oddly enough we both wore black and white monochromatic outfits great minds think alike! lol  I recently had bought this great geometric top and couldn't wait to wear it out.  The side braid was an after thought of a day of bad hair, wasn't my fav however I hoped by wearing this fantastic statement necklace no one would notice! :)

Just Because...

Ahh Friday... how come you didn't come sooner?! lol

After a long week of back on the ice coaching, a thrown out back I am screaming from the rooftops with joy that is the weekend!
Tonite I plan on toasting a friends recent engagement with champagne!  Salivating for the bubbles already!
Saturday I plan on some MAJOR girlish time with a mani/pedi, a cupcake, some new shoes, some freshly dyed roots and latte or two. 
Sunday I will be on set for a photo shoot for a campaign for {Rent Frock Repeat} and couldn't be more nervous and excited all rolled into one!  And of course all of this should make the blog next week..lol ;)

Enjoy your weekend and doing whatever tickles your fancy.

I have had a very busy week, even though it was short!  So many great things to share with you next week including my {FNO} purchases and a look at the events I went to, a GRIPE, my MTV VMA outfit review and as always some trends to keep an eye out for; it's going to be jammed packed so make sure to check back!

Just Because...

Tonite a childhood dream will come true, I will be seeing THE BOSS in concert!!!  When I was in middle school I used to play the below cassette while dancing and belting out Mr. Springsteen.  I am amazed I didn't grown up with a complex since I sang "BORN IN THE USA" like I actually was.

I will be heading to the Rogers Centre (Skydome) where I saw my first concert, Ricky Martin, many moons ago.  I cannot wait to knock this 'legend' off my concert bucket list.  I have managed to see Prince, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rolling Stone, off that list however the list still includes Cher, U2 and a handful more.

So tonite I live out a childhood dream and only wish I could be as lucky as Courtney Cox was and get pulled up on stage!

Ahhhh, little girl dreams do come true!

Summer Fun...

Well today starts a really fun weekend for me.  One of my oldest friends gets married and I cannot wait to celebrate all weekend!  I look forward to showing you all the picutres next week of what I wore!  I got some great outfits up my sleeve!!

Just Because...

Ahhh the weekend!  For a short work week it has felt like an eternity to get here.  But alas it is.

Tonight I am bartending at our local Italian Festival, if your in the area come out to say hello!  The above picture is from the coast line of Italy and as much as I love our festival nothing beats some cold beverages in Italy!

This weekend I hope to clean my house, do some shopping, hang out with my sister and FINALLY get to the Aberfoyle Anqtiue market.

Just Because...

Ahhh finally it is Friday.. I have had an insane week, almost double book each day.  Tonite heading into Toronto for my monthly dinner with my college friend.  Then tomorrow heading to an undisclosed location (in case she reads this) for my girlfriends bachlorette party!  Posts on that next week! 
And Sunday, SLEEP and relax.
