Just Because...

A lot is happening this weekend and I know the night's will be just perfect.

Make yourself HAPPY this weekend.  Do everything you love, buy something pretty, laugh lots, sleep in, eat bacon, enjoy the sun, and most of all, surround yourself with company you love.

Just Because...

This weekend around these parts it should be warm, shocking since today is -1c.  So when I saw this picture of this woman dazing off into the distance I decided I want to evoke this image!  I decided, while I do up my Holiday cards this weekend, I will pull out my long black lace dress, pair it with some biker boots and a leather coat, and then add a great knit on as to not make me look to unseasonably crazy!  Bonus, if I can find a café to sell me some champagne!

Styling...

To break out of my 9-5 routine I really look to the weekend for the change to bring out some pieces from the closet that I cannot wear to the office.  Going casual chic is fantastic and look that I adore almost as much as sequins and sky high heels.  When {Cindy} on a very early Sunday morning beat me to our daily read of {Refinery29} she was like you have to do a post like this for the blog.  So being that I adored all the outfits they put together, I decided to show you them! lol

Just Because...

Ahhh finally it is Friday.. I have had an insane week, almost double book each day.  Tonite heading into Toronto for my monthly dinner with my college friend.  Then tomorrow heading to an undisclosed location (in case she reads this) for my girlfriends bachlorette party!  Posts on that next week! 
And Sunday, SLEEP and relax.

Inspiration...

YEAH WEEKEND is here!  And for the first time in almost 4 weeks I will be at home.  Time to clean the house, do some retail therapy, sleep-in, grocery shop, read the 11 magazines awaiting me, blog, fold laundry, dust, RUN, hike with Stella... so much to do, I can only hope I can get it all done!

This weekend I will try not to look like a bum, I will NOT wear track pants, I will try to look like a fashionable young lady, I will use a curling iron, I will wear concelar, I will put away the UGGS, I will TRY TRY TRY, and that's is all I can do!

Inspiration...

I am very T.G.I.F today, feeling under the weather never helps either.  As I look forward to this uneventful weekend I plan on lots of resting and vitamin C doses.

Today being the first official day of fall I wanted to some inspiration how to look trendy yet comfortable for those days when stuff needs to get done and you are not looking your most glamorous self.  Well I didn't have to look far because {RueMagazine} found a this photo from London Fall Fashion Week from photographer {krisatomic}.  Could this girl exude any more perfection of classy/comfortable.  I love the idea of pairing these two unlucky pieces together.  Now the key will be to find the perfect skirt and slouchy sweater, I am sure that will be harder then I think .lol

Finds...

What better way to celebrate the arrival of a Friday then to have a new ice cream flavor!  “Schweddy Balls” the newest flavor {Ben and Jerry’s} is based on my favorite SNL skit and I am sure yours too from the holiday season starring Alec Baldwin!  The official website says this:

“Available in both pints and Scoop Shops, this flavor is Fair Trade vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum and is loaded with fudge covered rum and milk chocolate malt balls.”  

Sounds delicious!!  I hope it’s available in Canada!

This weekend I have a golf tournament tomorrow for Cheryl’s Hope (will have a post on it next week) and on Sunday I plan on a major FALL YARD and HOUSE clean up and putting out all my fall/Halloween house décor!  I love this season and I will show you all my lovely house additions so you can get in the fall mood right along side me.  Enjoy your weekend everyone!
