This past weekend warmed up and I was FINALLY inspired!
Since it was warm yet cool, paired these fun floral shorts with tights some maryjanes, and this wicked blue bag!  Who can be glum with that bag!

Well it finally happened.  This curvy blogger got an item that was coveted by all fashionistas but never available in larger sizes until {ASOS} did it.  God bless ASOS!  I got my army green fall coat with leather sleeves!!!  This was the UNTHINKABLE item I totally wanted but never thought I would get. 

The spikes were an addition I could do with our without, but since it came WITH I decided this is my bad ass coat!!!  Since this coat arrived I have been wearing it everywhere, proving what I have been saying for years; if you make great clothes for curvy girls, we WILL spend the money and wear it ALL the time!

Happy MONDAY morning everyone!

Today I am showing you what I wore to {FNO}, Fashion Night Out!  This is an event that is held all over the world, where retailers stay open late, throw little soirees and promote fashion and spending money!
Sounds great doesn't it! lol

I wanted to wear an outfit that was hinting at fall since the night was mild yet chilly, comfy shoes since I would be walk event to event!  So this is what I came up with!

Hope all of you had a great long weekend, I know I sure did.

The weather might have been a little chilly due to wind but with that sun shining brightly I decided to 'dress' for errands on Saturday.  I wore this new chiffon maxi from {Forever21} that I am absolutely in love with and can see wearing a TON this summer.  All the colours in this outfit put a smile on my face.  Don't you just love when an online purchase is perfect addition into your closet.

GRIPE...

These tops from {Forever21} make this weeks GRIPE.  First, I love that they payed homage to {HarpersBazaar} since I love the magazine, but really?  Out of the three, the best by a little is the middle one with the Aphrodite statue head in my opinion.  But the others, nope.  Now they might have potential with some great leather and layering pieces, but on their own with just jeans I think they come up short.

Found this necklace on {Forever21} and thought it was a perfect everyday piece.  Not only will it go with everything cause it is light and simple but the phrase will/should keep you motivated throughout your daily travels!  And of course, immediately break into song and dance from 'NEWSIES'!

GRIPE..

I love {Forever21} most of you know this, cause I am constantly showcasing their clothes that I love, but occasionally I just have to shake my head.  Prime example, this 'garbage bag dress' as I am calling it.  WOW.  Although I am sure a stripper or two would love to be dressed in latex, for the average woman this just doesn't work. Oh {Forever21} I guess you just have to keep things interesting don't you! lol

Well I am having one heck of a start to this Wednesday.  I am having a personal GRIPE, it's called food poisoning.  So yes, that sucks!  So while I compose myself and get thru a day full of work please enjoy today's clothing GRIPE!

This lovely sweatshirt from {Forever21} just screams my childhood and about 1986!  Wouldn't you agree! lol  I don't mind cartoon characters on sweaters at all, but the pattern on the sleeves is a little much and neon yellow, I mean I don't have to say much there do I.  I am not even sure I could style this to look appropriate, maybe with a black maxi skirt?!

I also think there is a little extra GRIPE cause frankly I am Daisy Duck girl at heart!

GRIPE DAY!!! Faux fur vests are very 'in' right now, VERY IN.  However I am not sure that ORANGE faux fur vests are 'in'.  I support this trend, I think its great, but I can't get behind an orange one.  Somehow this look is more Sesame Street then High Street.  Shake your head everyone in dismay just like me!  GRIPE!

While browsing for last week's GRIPE I saw this blazer on {Forever21} but in actuality I not only like the blazer but the entire look!  Paired with loafers for a casual look or a nice nude or bright coloured heel for work or cocktails, the idea of a lace feminine dress with a neutral blazer is classic.  A look I want to covet.

While doing some online window shopping, my favorite past time, I came across this jacket that I must have in my life.  It's amazing!  I am a huge fan of anything sequined, and anything gold, and a blazer, it's like it was made JUST FOR ME!!!

 I also have a love of penguins, and I think this sweater would be so cute for the fall/winter season.  Why not have some kitschy pieces in your wardrobe.

WEDNESDAY GRIPE!  I do have a love for gold but not gold lame.  This dress I think only belongs on a POLE, if you know what I mean...lol Maybe this dress could be worn for a bachlorette party etc, but it definitely needs to be in a shameful party venue, or maybe just maybe, I should go as an OSCAR for Halloween, cause this would totally work for it!  Oh the ideas are rolling now!  I mean it looks like rolled out gold tin foil!  lol

Well there is much to talk about from my weekend; I hope that you all had a great weekend as well.  While I gather my thoughts for the blog I thought I would show you what I wore out to a birthday party/pub night last weekend.

This was my FIRST piece of leopard print EVER.  Being that it is so hot for this season when I saw it at {Forever21} I thought of two things, first, I need that how fun! Second, this is a close to looking like a Kardashian sister as I ever will get!..lol

To tone down the leopard I paired it with a blazer and minimal jewellery since the print itself is over powering.  I felt so powerful and strong wearing this print: I look forward to wearing this party dress again.  Also, how much do you love my new {Forever21} bow necklace and ring; I am great little package! lol

That time of week again, GRIPE!  This week the item comes from {Forever21}, yes what you are seeing is correct, FRINGED LEGGINGS!!  Really?! who designs these things?!  If someone would know how to wear these things please let me know, because I cannot think of a way to make these look good.  Well wait!  Halloween is around the corner, a cowgirl perhaps?! hahaha  Happy Gripe

Something I love as a wee bit of a clothing whore is when I can find an item I have seen on celebrities or in magazines either A in my size and B at an affordable price.  Well it has happened again.  Check out this {Forever21} find online that is pretty much the identical replica of this Halston Heritage Chiffon layered dress at {stylebop}.  Jury is still out if I could pull this off.  Not sure how the layers will fit with my boobs and all, but I cannot wait to get to a store and try it on, perhaps, even buy it!  I mean it’s a steal at $33 compared to the $1000-ish one.  Oh, if you’re racking your brain trying to figure out which celebrity wore it recently, Sarah Jessica Parker wore it in the SATC movie.  Fingers crossed everyone this dress works out!

Field Trip...

Already in love with the {Maddee}, then this shirt was posted on {Forever21} I thought where/how can I wear them together.  Then the idea of putting together an easy look that’s casual enough yet pulled together to wear to a brunch meet up with my girlfriends, and this is how I would pair them.  Great skinny black jean/pant, a great congac bag, some light gold jewelry and then some wicked blue nail polish to spice up the fun level.  Cant wait for fall brunch in the city with my girlfriend Kristy when I can wear this outfit that is effortless chic as I would put it..lol 

Now I am craving spinach eggs benny!

This dress just came up to purchase on the {Forever21} I can’t wait to get my hands on it!  It’s the perfect type of dress that will take you from summer to fall.  In the summer with a great chunky heel and some great tanned bare legs; then come the fall/winter a great ankle boot and opaque black tights.  It’s sassy yet sophisticated, young but elegant.  I hope it will be hanging in the closet soon!
