Inspiration...

As the snow continues to fall here... and boy oh boy is it falling!  I know that these street fashion inspiration posts are some of you FimC readers favourite, I thought it would be a perfect fit.
Also thought, it is the last day of February, let's go out dreaming about what are ultimate wintery outfit would be.

WIW...

I love colour... hearts not so much.
But when I saw this sweater I knew it had to be mine!  Punched up the blue with the shoes I basically stalked to find, woohoo, and some bright neon to set it all off!

Who says you cant do colour in the winter?? Not this gal!

This past weekend warmed up and I was FINALLY inspired!
Since it was warm yet cool, paired these fun floral shorts with tights some maryjanes, and this wicked blue bag!  Who can be glum with that bag!

Spotlight...

As the week of mundane dressing is happening for me here I am always inspired by the daily post of {Suburban Faux-Pas} a blog by the stunning Krystin Lee.

I was introduced to Krystin's blog through the way all of us find blogs, RANDOMLY! lol
I then got to meet Krystin at a mall one day odd enough, when this gal (me) walked up to her and was like, 'umm excuse me are you from Suburban Faux-Pas' suffice to say my embarrassment was minimal and well we have become fast social media buddies and she is super sweet in person. #stalkermuchCarlie is what you are thinking..lol  I know.. But I have zero shame and am always looking to connect with other Canadian Bloggers; especially the ones with style I adore.

Krystin's posts this past week on her dressing in this Winter Wonderland have been refreshing and welcoming and as always inspiring!  Since I cannot inspire you FimC readers with outfit posts this week lets let Krystin do it for us!

Winter Weather Dressing 

Yesterday I mentioned how hard it is to be inspired to dress nice when all it seems us Canadians do is try to add some pizazz with a scarf to our jackets.  This coming Friday I am heading to a hockey game with the best friend and it is supposed to be 9c out.. HELLA WARM for January.  Got me thinking, how can I NOT wear the big bulky coat out to the game but still stay warm; This is what I came up with!  

I will for sure take pictures for you and show you that I do put my money wear my mouth is and wear what I preach!
And perhaps with all this warm weather on the horizon I can finally get some WIW posts done without freezing my buns off in the snow!

Winter Weather Dressing 

Winter is here and well frankly, my dressing goes down the tubes.  To find some inspiration this weekend I assembled a few outfits that are more of what I should try to aspire to wear when out with friends, movie nights and for all errands really.

This outfit is everything I want to be... Stylish, simple, classic and preppy all at the same time!  I might not have all these pieces in my closet but I sure can channel this look and make it my own!
