Morning, I am dying from the time change we had here yesterday. I would personally like to ask someone for that hour back, I cannot wait till October to get it back. It was so dark getting ready this morning my outfit completely reflects it; I am wearing grey and black. So why not make today's post BRIGHT and Spring-y to help me/you/us adjust!
Keeping in the line with last week's green jeans, {Boston Common Magazine} has a spread with actress Mena Suvari with a bright GREEN bush background. I am a big fan of bright primary colours, effortless styling and of course chic separates, all of which this spread has. With looks like this you cannot help but await spring with open arms!

Interesting...
My favorite magazine is VOGUE and my favorite issue is the fall issue. It is the biggest and most coveted issue of the magazine. Adage.com just released that the issue will contain, 584 ad pages, a 9.3% gain over its September 2010 issue.
Largest issue to date was the one pictured below. It had 727 pages of ads. Ads of today's era are like art, and I love treating each page as such.
However I always do feel bad for my postman.

Wish List...
Have you seen this dress before?! I am sure you have!
The Prada Multi-coloured Spring 2011 dress has been WAY over publicized. I first saw it Hailee Steinfeld at this years Oscars and thought what a perfect dress for a young lady.
Then it came out on the cover of, Harper's Bazaar Singapore February 2011, Elle Magazine April 2011, Harper's Bazaar UK July 2011, Flare May 2011, Elle Belgiƫ's May 2011 issue, InStyle UK June 2011, and I was SOOOO over this dress.
Then to my surprise {asos} last week came out with their copy of it. Now the question is; do you buy into a trend that is OVER WORKED or buy into it because I CAN now have this Prada look-a-like?
Decisions, Decisions!

Spotlight...
The July/August issue of {condolife} is out on news stands, and take a look who got a cameo, mama-sita JANET!!! My mum attended a benefit evening entitled ‘Denim and Diamonds’ in support of WINC, Women in Construction. This organization of professional women that service communities and individuals who need help or are in crisis. In attendance were Canada’s top interior designers, Nicholas Rosaci, Glen Peloso, Jane Lockhart, Ramsin Khaci and Karen Sealy and more! My mum was a guest of her friend Kathleen Kelly who works in lifestyle magazine advertising.
Weeks following the event my mum was still talking about all the designers and what a great time she had. She even won an auction to have Glen Peloso do a home consultation on her house!
Doesn’t my mum just look like she was made to be in magazines! You rock Mum!
