Winter Fun...

Happy Monday Morning FimC readers!

As most weekends go, they happen way to fast!  This weekend was full of lots of fun things for me, especially on Saturday.  The ladies in my family and I spent the day in Toronto shopping at The Bay, Eaton Centre and of course the new Loblaws in the old Maple Leaf Gardens.  We had tons of laughs, each got some great items and by the end of the almost 12 hour day we also had some tired feet!

While at The Bay I got to meet Jessica and Ashlee Simpson who were there to promote their new tween line!  Not a bad day when you get to meet a mogul I think!

 

What I Wore:  swing coat- Old Navy, jeans- Pennington's, top- Forever21, oxfords- ALDO, bag- H&M

I went darker for the winter season.

 

And to top off the post the gorgeous Swarovski Christmas tree in the middle of the Eaton Centre.  Beautiful.

 

Fall Fun...

I am crazy! Actually 'we' are crazy!

Yesterday morning my mother and I got into a line around 6:15am to get free gift cards at the opening of the new {HomeSense} store here in Guelph.  CRAZY!  Gift cards were given out out by drawing out of a basket, I was lucky enough to get $100 and mum got $50, not bad for 2 hours of waiting.  

Once inside it was NUTS, buggies everywhere; my mum even commented she didn't know there was this many people in Guelph! lol  Not sure why everyone in the city thought we needed home decor at 8am but I am glad we were not the only crazy ones, over 200 people in line before the store opened.

What a Tuesday morning I tell ya!

All the other insane home decor shoppers.  The check out line wrapped around itself 3x times!

 

Just bought a couple things!  The big items were already behind the register lol

 

Spotlight...

The July/August issue of {condolife} is out on news stands, and take a look who got a cameo, mama-sita JANET!!!  My mum attended a benefit evening entitled ‘Denim and Diamonds’ in support of WINC, Women in Construction.  This organization of professional women that service communities and individuals who need help or are in crisis.  In attendance were Canada’s top interior designers, Nicholas Rosaci, Glen Peloso, Jane Lockhart, Ramsin Khaci and Karen Sealy and more!  My mum was a guest of her friend Kathleen Kelly who works in lifestyle magazine advertising.

Weeks following the event my mum was still talking about all the designers and what a great time she had.  She even won an auction to have Glen Peloso do a home consultation on her house!

Doesn’t my mum just look like she was made to be in magazines!   You rock Mum!
