Just Because...

Happy Monday Morning Everyone!!
Working on lots of posts of my awesome weekend for you!  Let a new week begin!

You ever get ready for a great girls night out, only to find when you arrive at the destination you and your girlfriends are wearing similar items?!  I know right, it happens all the time!  Especially now a days with such great basic elements like nude heels, skinny jeans and blousy tops.  What are girls to do!
Embrace it, and have a good night I say!

Here is a picture I came across where BACHLORETTE Ali had the same issue.  She and her two friends are all wearing skinny jeans and nude heels.  I am happy to at least not have paparazzi chasing me and
my matching girlfriends!

I hope you had a great weekend that you and your girlfriends had a blast no matter what you were wearing!

Adore...

Finally the weekend is here.  deep breathe.  Its been rainy all week and the weekend is not looking to be any better.  On my bright side I am heading to Oktoberfest in Kitchener with friends tonite, and I know that will be a blast and make up for the fact I have been wearing wellies all week.  I will for sure do a post on the event next week.  Hope that you have a great weekend no matter what your doing!

Here are some red carpet looks from this past week that I totally loved.  I am thinking that every Friday I will do a red carpet summary to keep us all inspired to dress the best we can all the time!
Enjoy my favourite looks!

Finds...

Another watch and find happened last night!  While watching ABC's show REVENGE which is most defiantly one of my fall favourites, character Emily Thorne's dress stopped me in my tracks.  It was this yellow and lace pleated strapless dress and as much as I wanted it to be a contemporary designer, I knew it wouldn't be.

It was Valentino!  From the house's 2011 Resort collection.

The costume designer for the show  Jill M. Ohanneson is amazing.  All the clothes she picks for this character are beautiful, feminine, classic; for sure a closet I would raid!  Are you watching this show?  If you are not, you should, if even just for the clothes!

Inspiration...

Mega fashion site {refinery29} recently did a post on the most inspiring handbags in New York City right now.  I picked a couple to show you, but click {here} to see the entire slideshow.

Do you currently have some arm candy like these?
I noticed almost all are cross body bags, do you have one for fall?

Feel inspired, and go shop for a new handbag!

DIY...

I was seeing this DIY candle ALL OVER the internet, so to say exactly where I got the idea is very hard.  It is so simple to make I decided to make them for the ladies in my family as a small Thanksgiving Day treat.

So here is how I made it, so now you too can make them for your family and friends!

Here are all the materials you need; cinnamon sticks, elastic bands, a candle and twine.  You will see ribbon/super glue in this picture and in the end I didn’t end up using them, just an FYI.

Wrap an elastic band around the candle you have chosen and then tuck in the cinnamon sticks.

Wrap twine, string, yarn or even the ribbon tightly around the candle, don’t take off the elastic band, it helps with the wrapping.  Tie in a bow!

Place in box for delivery!

See, super simple!  Now go enjoy the smell of cinnamon filling your house!

Fall Fun...

Last Thursday I was able to attend an event hosted by {Eat.Live.Shop} in Toronto.  Renee from the blog had this great idea to get people together to make bracelets! {Bicyclette} was this fantastic boutique on Queen West where the event took place.  I brought along with my friend Kristy for a fun night out.  Here are a few pictures from the night and of course the fantastic bracelets we made.  Have to love a girls night out in the city, especially when it includes jewelry!
This is the beautiful store front of the boutique {Bicyclette}

Here is a shot of the event.  The design element I liked the most were the banners acorss the top of the room.  Renne took paint chips and folded them over and strung them up.
What a great inexpensive decor idea!

Here were all the supplies that were provided for us for the bracelets.

My girlfriend Kristy hard at work on her bracelet.

Here is a great shot that Amanda from {theBurgundygirls} took of the bracelet she was working on.

And this is me sporting my very own made bracelet!  I love how it works perfectly with the other wrist jewelery I wear on a daily basis.

Thanks again to Renee from {Eat.Live.Shop} for my first ever blogger event and a fantastic girls night out!

OH!  Kristy and I took pictures of what I wore, but they didn't turn out the best and we joked they could make GRIPE Wednesday, so I didn't post them!  Sorry!
