Finds...

Check out unique footwear designer {Kobi Levi}.  Graduated from Bezalel academy of art & design, Jerusalem 2001, he has presented his shoes Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Verona, St.Etienne, Berlin etc.  He says "In my artistic footwear design the shoe is my canvas. The trigger to create a new piece comes when an idea, a concept and/or an image comes to mind. The combination of the image and footwear creates a new hybrid and the design/concept comes to life. The piece is a wearable sculpture. It is "alive" with/out the foot/body. Most of the inspirations are out of the "shoe-world".

I think he is a total genius.  Here are just a few of his designs.  Check out his blog {here}.

Adore...

I love Elie Saab's designs.  I did a post on their Fall 2011 show {here} and I think from now on I will always do a post of just Saab.  Every show his designs are breathtaking, and this time is no exception.  The colours were bright and saturated which made me in awe even more.  Here are five of my favourite looks of this Spring 2012 collection from Paris Fashion Week.

May your heart go a flutter with these gorgeous dresses.

Fall Fun...

I hope you all had a great weekend, it was a very relaxing long weekend for me!  I got so much done around the house which I was more then thrilled to get done.

For something fun to do this long weekend I tagged along with my little cousins to the Erin Fall Fair.  I have not been to many fall fairs, I am as City as it gets, however I wanted to something fun for fall and what is more fall, then baking, farm animals, large pumpkins, and of course FAMILY.  The day was sunny and hot hot hot.  It was close to 30degrees and for mid-October it could not have been a nicer day!

My cousin Joanne deserves a shout out, because she submitted her baking to the fair’s baking competition, and her tea biscuits and cake both won SECOND place in their categories!  How great is that!  And my little cousin came SECOND as well in a necklace making competition, she made an amazing necklace with pasta and ribbon, she is a jewelry designer in the making!

These are a few snap shots of the wonderful time I had at the fair!  Made for a great end of a long weekend.

Wish List...

While watching my weekly TV obsession, Gossip Girl this past Monday, I was captivated by character Serena's earrings.  They were coral, teal and gold, I was love struck.  So of course as most of us do, I went to the internet to immediately find out if they were in my price range.  Sad to announce, they are not.  They happen to be {OSCAR de la RENTA}; I take a large sigh, but $290 earrings are not in my budget, unless I rode the bus for a month and gave up cable.  Pondering.  They are stunning, floral etched coral, turquoise and jade set in 24-karat gold.  These earrings to me scream summer, and I immediately think of all the white outfits, denim chambray shirts and late nights with mojitos that I would enjoy them with.  Reminder to self, we are now in fall.  lol  Five more days till the next episode and new fashion accessory crush I am sure.

One Shoe... Three Looks

  One Shoe... Three Looks

I posted this shoe {here} yesterday and told you would I would do a styling blog on them.  So here are three outfits that showcase this amazing cranberry sparkler of a shoe!  Of course a LBD with a colourful shoe is a given for an option, plus very simple, since everyone already has the dress the shoes are a way to GLAM it up!  Next, a blue dress, or any colourful dress would work, it adds POW the fun-ness (is that even a word) of the shoe.  There is no RULE that says a bright shoe needs a dull dress, so go for it!  And thirdly, a fantastic skinny/blazer combo; this is a great look to tone-down the shoe so you can get more wear out of it.  Not all 'dressy' shoes need a dress or a cocktail outfit to wear them.  Sometimes a great pair of jeans is all you need.

Ahhh.. now to order these!!!..
