GRIPE...

Today's GRIPE is simple, it is these Kanye West Guiseppe Zanotti heels that cost $6,000!  My issue is not that they are $6g's or that they are designed by Kanye, my gripe is that they are just UGLY! lol

Here is the second part of my GRIPE.  I adore Kim Kardashian (that is a whole other post) however the love for 'her man' has lead to wearing these shoes too many times!  Kim has a great sense of style and I appreciate her supporting Kanye but girl, take off the UGLY shoes!!  He would/should love you without you hawking these dreadful shoes.

Ladies, SUPPORT your partners, but when they make UGH shoes, perhaps become the MUSE and convince them to make NEW shoes..lol  Ones that are attractive and that 'real' people really want to wear!

Interesting...

Does your family do a family portrait holiday card?  Mine doesn't.  One family that does one every year are the Kardashian/Jenner clan.  These are their stunning holiday photos for their 2011 card from Kim Kardashians blog {here}.  Now it would be nice to convenience my father to wear a tux for a photo!  Say what you want about the Kardashians, they do know how to take a glam photo!

Now if you do do a family holiday photo and it was not this fancy perhaps next year you can up the anty and put out one like this!  Your friends will call you 'fancy pants' and who doesn't like fancy pants! lol

oh!  My favourite part, all of them in bow ties and menswear inspired looks.  Nothing says sexy like a lady in a tux! And it is hard to see but Khloe has netting across her face, I am loving that too.

Just Because...

I have a crush on Kim Kardashian’s style, I will admit it.  Recently she posted on her blog that at a New York Fashion Week Show that she “I teamed it with these 10-inch heels and I was so nervous all night wearing them! I didn’t want to trip!” with her dress, insanity!!! 10-inch heels!!  WOW… now I have some big boy shoes of my own, but 10-inches, I don’t think I would have the guts to go that high.  Highest I own are 7-inches, if I wore 10-inch shoes I would be 6’4!!!  That’s taller then most men I know!  I guess if you’re a Kardashian sister and marry a 6’7 basket ball player these shoes are a must.  

 She posted a pic, but not a good one of the shoes, so try and imagine.  

Wonder what her tootsies felt like the next day?!

Summer Fun...

This past weekend rained, and poured and just when you thought you were drowning, it rained some more.

I spent the weekend up at the cottage with a few of my girlfriends.  We spent the weekend eating chips, reading five gossip magazines, and watching the entire season six of Sex and the City.  We laughed, talked men, chilled, and above all got in some major girl time battery charging.

This is pretty much what I saw all weekend.

Onto the other note that filled my weekend curiosity.  The Kim Kardashian wedding.  No matter what your personal views of her and her brand and her family, there is no denying that she is beautiful.  When it comes to celebrity weddings, red carpets, I can never wait to see what the ladies would wear.  This wedding was no exception.  I kept hitting refresh on my sisters computer trying to see if some sort of website even got an aerial shot of her in the Vera Wang dress she was going to wear.  Now of course most of the pictures I cannot right click on and save, lol, but this one I got from {E!Online}.

I believe she went for the Armenian princess look (that's her background) and WOW, that headband is gorgeous.  Her make up is simple, not too much of a smokey of an eye, which is what she normally does.  And I think her choice not to do large earrings or a necklace was a fantastic decision since she had the headband on.

Rumour has it she changed two more times thru out the night.  {People Magazine} has the rights of the photos and is said to hit newsstands on Friday.  For more of the wedding pics click {here}.  And the 

E! two day wedding special will air Oct 9th and 10th.  I know I will be TiVo’ing it.  I mean, anyone who has that much money to spend on their wedding, I want to see what it can buy, lol.
